Role Permission
Prerequisites
- Logged into the OSL Overseas Warehouse System with an account that has administrator privileges.
- Team members' responsibilities have been planned (e.g., operations, finance, warehouse).
Objective
Create roles and configure corresponding module and button-level permissions. The OSL system adopts a role-based access control mechanism to ensure employees "perform their respective duties" through fine-grained authorization, avoiding high-risk misoperations.
Entry: Left Navigation → System Settings → Role Permission
Important: Before creating sub-accounts for team members, you must first create role permissions, then create sub-accounts and bind them.
Create Role Permission
- Click the 「New」 button to enter the "New Merchant Role" page.
- Fill in the Role Name (e.g., Operations Specialist, Finance Reconciliation, Warehouse Packer) and role description.
- In the 「OMS Permissions」 area, check the corresponding modules and button-level permissions according to job responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Control whether to allow [Export Operation] for "Product Inventory" and "Inventory Flow".
- Inbound Management: Control view or create permissions for delivery plans, inbound overview, and return requests.
- Outbound Management (High-Risk Core): Control whether to perform [Review Operation], [Manual Sync Operation], [Cancel Operation], or [Export Operation] on platform orders.
- Ticket Management: Control whether to allow [Appeal Operation] or [Complete Operation] for warehouse discrepancies.
- Product Management: Control the full lifecycle operations of product SKUs, including [New Product], [Edit Product], [Submit Operation], [Discard Operation], etc.
- After checking, click the 「Submit」 button at the bottom of the page to successfully create the role.
Role Management
- Edit Role: Modify role name, description, and permission configuration.
- Delete Role: Delete roles that are no longer in use (ensure no sub-accounts are bound to this role).
Tip: After the role is created, you can go to Account Management to create sub-accounts and assign this role.
